Malawi School of Government (MSG) has launched its Public Service Leadership Milestone Programme that will be providing comprehensive leadership training for officials in various leadership roles within the government.
MSG Director General, Professor Asiyati Lorraine Chiweza said the program would make government officers in leadership position with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Secretary for Human Resource Management, Blessings Chilabade emphasized that many individuals have assumed leadership positions without proper training, prompting the government to introduce this program.
M’mbelwa District Council Commissioner Rodney Simwaka, who is also one the training participants. Said he hope that the training will help improve standards in the civil service.
