South African King Misuzulu kaZwelithini, is set to marry another wife, Nomzamo Myeni, from the royal family of Jozini, in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Zimoja confirmed that senior royal members of the royal family will accompany the King to pay lobola to Myeni’s family this Sunday.

The king is currently married to his long-time partner, Queen Ntokozo kaMayisela Zulu from Newcastle, in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

King Misuzulu also paid lobola to his estranged second wife, Queen Nozizwe Mulela, from the Kingdom of eSwatini and the king also performed other traditional ceremonies before his coronation in August 2022.

The queen-to-be, Myeni met the king at a bank in Jozini, not far from Pongola.

The couple is said to have met more than two years ago – after Misuzulu had ascended the throne.

“She apparently quit her job in the banking sector to work closely at the private office of Misuzulu. The relationship had to be kept under wraps until the king was ready to get married to her.” Details about their wedding will be announced among the family.
