The National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF) has called on Christians to hold the culture of repaying loans which they get from the institution and other lenders.

NEEF credit analyst for Central west region Humphrey Thondolo said this on Sunday evening after conducting an awareness meeting on loan processes at Area 25 Victory Temple of the Assemblies of God.

Thondolo further indicated that the gathering has assisted the congregants to have a better understanding on how loans are processed.

Meanwhile,Lead pastor for Area 25 Victory Temple of the Assemblies of God Dr. Jim Bottoman Mbewe said the financial literacy is key and Christians need to repay loans since its part of the scriptures.

One of the congregants Maud Gausi described the training as vital to them considering the current economic hardships.
