Well-known comedian Felistus Ngwira, popularly known as Nya-uyu in the entertainment circles has offered herself to marry former President Dr. Bakili Muluzi, founder of the United Democratic Front (UDF).
The offer follows Muluzi’s remarks in a yet to be aired Times Exclusive program with Brian Banda where he alleged that he is available for marriage to any woman who will throw herself on him.
” Ayi ine nditha kukwatila ngati angapezeke mzimayi oziponyaponya. Olo osalephela kuyimba ka phone kuti ine ndilipo,” said laughingly Muluzi as he was answering a question from Banda who asked him if he is done with marriage or not.
Muluzi’s remarks has attracted quick response from Nya-uyu Ngwira of Vilekeke Kingdom who in are post claimed that she was not aware that the former President was single.
“Aaaaa atcheya is single?? Ai musandiuze? Odi ndikaziponyeponye kwa biggie.
“Akhwaaka Tannah Mr broken English Cathreen Star Mlenga Ida Chicker Chabs Rute Make Labisoni zoona osandiuza Kuti munthu wakulu Ali single?? Vungani number yawo,” wrote Nya-uyu.
Muluzi ruled the country from 1994 to 2004 and he divorced his wife Annie and married Patricia Shanil whom she also divorced.
