In a surprising turn of events, a bride called off her wedding just days before the scheduled date due to her groom’s inability to provide the requested amount of N30,000 for her desired wedding gown and a move out of his parent’s home.
The wedding, set for Saturday, May 4th, 2024, in Faarin Lamba, Vom, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, was abruptly canceled.
Initially, the bride, Florence Friday, requested the N30,000 from her groom, Morgak James, on March 28, 2024, to secure her desired gown, but Morgak could only raise N15,000, promising to provide the rest the following week.
Despite later obtaining the full amount, Florence demanded that Morgak move out of his family home into an apartment, leading to a heated argument.
Eventually, they agreed to postpone moving out for two months after the wedding.
However, the situation escalated when Florence unexpectedly canceled the wedding days before, citing Morgak’s refusal to leave his family home.
The groom-to-be James Morgak wrote on his Facebook page …
