Departments condemned for no show at a launch of strategic plan

Ministry of Transport has criticized some other departments and agencies for not showing up to an important launch of a strategic plan in Lilongwe

According to Engineer David Mzandu said, it was evident from the roll call that some departments did not show up.

“Without naming them, we are urging the missing departments to re-evaluate their key performances indicators to focus on enhancing the country’s socio-economic development” said Mzandu

Speaking in an interview with Jacob Hara, Minister of Transport agreed with the Mzandu and pointed out by urging the departments and agencies to implement the strategic plan for betterment of the sector.

However, chairperson for Parliamentary committee on transport Enock Phale said their commitment to continue providing an oversight role so that the strategic plan bears the intended results
