Former President Bakili Muluzi has demanded that the government must take swift and quick action against an online television platform operating under his name.
Lameck Mombera, chief of staff in the office of the former president has conveyed Muluzi’s concerns about the ongoing misuse of his name in political matters and petty propaganda, which he believes is damaging his reputation.
The concern, comes barely after few day when government through ministry of information Moses Kunkuyu has launched an investigation to crack down team behind online Bakili Mulizi TV.
According to Kunkuyu police and the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) have been alerted to investigate and hold the responsible individual accountab.
