A young South African woman created a stir at a restaurant when she proposed to her boyfriend during a date.

After coordinating with the venue’s management, a waiter presented a platter with a white ring box to the surprised man.

Amid cheers and applause from other customers, she bent down and offered the ring, which he accepted.

The couple sealed their engagement with a hug and gentle kisses as the audience continued to applaud.
