Rays of Hope Organization has motivated young girls in the country to prioritize education in order to end poverty and injustice.

The organization is training female teachers from Ntcheu district to be role models to young girls in their working areas.

The organization’s Basic Education Officer, Thokozani Lamulani said the initiative seeks to motivate girls who dropped out of school to return and pursue their studies.

“They are providing trainings to 66 female teachers from 66 schools in seven zones in Ntcheu district.

Naomi Mbandambanda from Nsabwela Primary School is one of the trained teachers and said the girls need to take education as something beneficial to improve and excel in their lives.

The training is being done under “Abwenzi a Ana” program. With funding from Save the Children.
