Stakeholders in the country said that they are impressed with the uptake of sexual reproductive health services by the youths in the country.

This was said by the Family Planning Association of Malawi at the ongoing 9th African Population conference in Lilongwe.

The association was highlighting its efforts aimed at managing population growth in the country amidst calls for empowering the youth economically.

Tazirwa Chipeta , Director of Programs at the Association said the trends is positive, the however called for more efforts aimed at sensitizing the youths on the benefits of sexual reproduction health services in controlling population growth.
