Khanyisile Vanessa Mndayi, a 27-year-old woman, is fighting for her life after being brutally stabbed over 20 times by her boyfriend in front of their children in South Africa.
The horrific attack occurred on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in their home in Berea, Johannesburg.
The suspect, Luuk De Jong, locked Khanyisile and the children in the house after the attack and fled with his belongings.
Neighbors alerted the police, and when De Jong returned to continue the assault, the police were able to arrest him.
Khanyisile remains in critical condition as authorities investigate the incident.
