National Bank of Malawi (NBM) has partnered with the Blantyre City Council (BCC) to improve the ease and efficiency of paying for city services through NBM’s digital platforms.

NBM’s Manager for e-Banking Services, Enala Catherine Chirwa, announced that NBM account holders registered on Mo626ice will be able to make BCC payments at their convenience.

“Both NBM account holders and non-account can make deposits in person at any NBM Service Centre across Malawi” said Chirwa.

She concluded that for now only city rate have been enable.

BCC Acting Director of Commerce, Benson Chirwa, said the collaboration has potential to increase the number of paying customers.

He also encouraged residents to take advantage of this new system to ensure timely and secure payments for their city services.
