House maid identified as Mary Mdoka is reportedly on the run after stealing money amounting to MK253,000 and some house items from the house Patrick Gwengwe.
Gwengwe has confirmed of the development in an interview saying the house maid committed the act on Tuesday.
“This lady was employed as a house maid , her name is Mary Mdoka from Manyungwa village T/A Mwambo in Zomba. On Tuesday morning she stole kitchen utensils, clothes and Money amounting 253000,so please anyone who knows where she is now please report to the nearest police or call 0996671739 /0996366541,” reads part of the statement.
The law enforces have since launched a manhunt.
Mdoka hails from Manyungwa village T/A Mwambo in Zomba.
