The United Democratic Front (UDF) has announced that it will held its elective conference on August 3, 2024 in Blantyre.
UDF National Publicity Secretary Yusuf Mwawa confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying many members showing interest to contest in higher positions.
According to Mwawa, UDF legislator for Mangochi Mkungulu Aisha Adams, who is also Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, is heading the organising committee of the conference.
He said the party’s registered members are contributing financially towards the conference specifically to cater for transport, accommodate and food.
