Malawian boss lady based in United States of America, Chawez Banda popularly known as Cha Cha has finally responded to the critics of inheriting wealth from her father.
Cha Cha who is a daughter to late prominent politician Aleke Banda, has made the response by sharing her story via her Facebook page on how she became prosper.
Cha Cha Writes:
I came to America independently, without assistance from my father. In Malawi, I was employed by a travel agency. I secured my visa on my own, sold all my possessions from my small rented home, and used that money to purchase a plane ticket. I informed my father of my plans only after I had obtained my visa and ticket, just one day before my departure. I also arranged for my stepmother to take care of my daughter until I could establish myself.
Upon arrival in Washington DC, my first job was as a maid for a Nigerian family. Unfortunately, they treated me poorly, not allowing me to eat with them and only permitting me to eat leftovers after I had cooked for them. My father was unaware of the nature of my work at the time.
Many young people mistakenly believe that my current success is due to an inheritance from my father. This is not true.
Cha Cha, signed out by saying that everything she has, is a result of her hard working and determination.
