The opposition party, Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has criticized the country’s leader, Lazarus Chakwera, for ‘traveling too much’. This was stated in a letter released by the opposition leader in the parliament, George Chaponda.

Chaponda said it is unfortunate that Chakwera continues to hold meetings which he described as ‘unproductive’. He concluded by urging Chakwera to self-reflect as he is wasting resources while people in the country are suffering.

The government has not provided a response as we are following up on this issue.
