United Transformation Movement (UTM) spokesperson Felix Njawala ha described the fame of rising entertainment content creator-cum musician, Jetu, real name Christina Kholiyo as ‘accidental’.

Njawala’s remarks come barely hours as the artist is scheduled to fly to South Africa where she is scheduled to perfume and also see her only surviving child who is currently based in the rainbow nation in search for greener pasture.

Writing on his official facebook page Njawala said that Jetu and veteran musician Joseph Nkasa are two Malawi’s accidental celebrities by far.

“So far, I have seen two accidental celebrities in Malawi: Jetu and Joseph Mkasa. These two share some similarities. In a few months, Jetu will likely need bodyguards to walk in our cities, just as Mkasa did at the height of his fame.

“Whether we like it or not, some people are simply fortunate, and nothing can stop them from achieving their destined success. I wish Jetu all the best as she enjoys this pinnacle of her life,” wrote Njawala.

Meanwhile, JETU is an Ambassador for the elderly in the country courtesy of MANEPO.
