Death has been announced of United Democratic Front (UDF) Councillor for Mikongo Ward in Mangochi, Adams Chinyangala.
Mangochi District Council spokesperson Bishop Witmos has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying Witmos died on motorcycle accident.
The accident is said to have happened near government silos along Bakili Muluzi Highway.
According to Witmos, funeral program will be released later in the day.
