Chakwera cancels his trip to Bahamas over Chilima’s missing

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has cancelled his trip to Bahamas over allegedly missing of a plane carrying State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima in Mzuzu.
Secretary to the office of the President and Cabinet (SPC) Colleen Zamba has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.
Chakwera has since ordered all regional and national agencies to conduct an immediate search and rescue operation to locate the whereabouts of an aircraft that was carrying Vice President Saulos Chilima that is missing.
The Malawi Defense Force Aircraft that carried Chilima and nine others, left Lilongwe today at 09:17 but failed to land at Mzuzu International Airport.
