The body of unknown woman is yet to be identified and collected for burial at Karonga District Hospital
The woman was involved in road accident that happened on June 10,2024, at Mayofya Primary School along the Kaporo-Karonga M1 road in the district.
The victim, believed to be aged between 60 and 65 years old, was fatally struck by a Cantre two-tonner vehicle while crossing the road and died upon arrival at Karonga district hospital.
Karonga police spokesperson George Mulewa appeals to individuals with information regarding a missing family member or community member to come forward and assist in the identification process.
