The casket which government has procured for the Vice President, late Dr Saulos Chilima, has arrived from South Africa.
Minister of Information and Digitalization Moses Kunkuyu confirmed of the development during media briefing in the capital Lilongwe yesterday.
According to Kunkuyu, the casket arrived in the country through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).
But Kunkuyu could not disclose how much money government has used in purchasing the casket.
Late Dr Chilima is expected to be laid to rest on Monday at his village in his home district of Ntcheu.
