The bodies of the late Colonel Owen Sambalopa, Major Wallace Aidin, and Major Flora Selemani Ngwilinji have been laid to rest at their respective homes.
The three were crew members on the plane that crashed in Chikangawa Forest, killing them, Vice President Saulos Chilima, and four others.
Colonel Sambalopa was the main pilot, Major Selemani was the co-pilot, and Major Aidin was the plane technician.
Major Selemani has been laid to rest at her home in Thyolo, Colonel Sambalopa in Zomba, and Major Aidin in Mangochi.
