The police at Kanengo in Lilongwe, have arrested two young men on the suspicion that they have been stealing various goods in the city.
Kanengo police spokesperson Gresham Ngiwira has confirmed the arrest and identified the suspects as Shukulani Mussa 20-year-old and Tonny Juma, 22.
According Ngwira, the two are being suspected to steal different properties around Area 25 B and other surrounding areas in the city
The two have been abusing people by beating them and stealing various goods from them.
“The police arrested these boys after we were tipped off by other people that the two were at another place while they were buying some goods in an unknown manner. We found them with two plasma TVs suspected to be stolen,” said Mr. Ngwira.
The two are expected to appear in court soon after the investigation into the matter is over.
