The People’s Development Party (PDP) has announced that it will hold its main conference to elect party leaders from September 13 to 14 this year. The party stated that the conference will take place in the city of Blantyre.
According to a statement signed by the party’s spokesperson, Rhodes Msonkho, all positions are open to anyone who wishes to represent the party. “We believe that this conference will provide an opportunity for members to play a significant role in the management of the party,” Msonkho said.
The party was established earlier this year by Kondwani Namkhumwa, who was the former deputy leader of the DPP in the southern region.
