Blantyre City Mayor Wild Ndipo has said he will not seek re-election in the forthcoming mayoral polls set for next months.
Speaking in a an interview with the press Ndipo said he is satisfied with what he has done to the city.
“Ntchito iyi siyamunthu mmodzi. Ine ndachita kumbali yanga, tiyeseso magazi atsopano,” Ndipo was quoted as saying in the interview.
Ndipo served as Deputy Mayor in 2014 before being elected as Mayor in 2027 outclassing Councillor Noel Chalamanda.
