Police are hunting for unknown people for allegedly murdering 56-year-old Stanley Sadia.
Mulanje Police spokesperson Innocent Moses said Sadia’s body was found at Likhubula Bridge in the Mtuthama area of Misanjo.
Moses said Sadia left Chibanthi Village to drink beer in Chisinkha Village but never returned.
His body was reportedly discovered the following morning under Likhubula Bridge in a pool of blood.
“Upon receiving the report, we rushed to the scene with medical personnel from Mulanje District Hospital, who determined that the cause of death was a head injury inflicted by a blunt object,” Moses explained.
Stanley Sadia hailed from Nampinga Village in the area of Senior Chief Mabuka in Mulanje District.
