Rumphi District United Transformation Movement (UTM) Committee is set hold a candlelight memorial in honour of the former Vice President, the late Dr Saulos Chilima who died in a plane crash earlier this month in Chikangawa Forest along eight others.
Afiki Mbwewe, UTM Regional Youth Director for the Northern Region, said the memorial will take place on Saturday at Rumphi Boma from 6 pm.
President Dr Lazarus Chakwera declared 21 days of mourning in honour of his former Vice President.
