COUNCILOR INNOCENT NKHOMA ELECTED AS A NEW MAYOR FOR KASUNGU MUNICIPAL COUNCIL

Councilor Innocent Nkhoma of Chitete Ward has been elected as the Mayor for Kasungu Municipal Council, beating Councillor Brighton Ngalande of Chankhanga Ward.
Nkhoma got seven votes against Ngalande’s two to take over the seat from Heese Nyangu who did Councillor Innocent Nkhoma of Chitete Ward has been elected as the Mayor for Kasungu not contest.
Kasungu Municipal Council has eight Councilors and one Member of Parliament, all belonging to Malawi Congress Party.
