One person has died while another has been injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred last night in Ntcheu.
Ntcheu Police spokesperson Jacob Khembo said the accident happened at Chikhamwazi on the Ntcheu-Dedza M1 road. He stated that the deceased, Constable Haji Hussein, who worked at Katuli Police Border, was riding the motorcycle and had a passenger.
However, upon reaching the area, he lost control and fell into a ditch. This caused severe head injuries, leading to his death upon arrival at Ntcheu Hospital, while the passenger has been admitted to the same hospital.
Constable Hussein was from Mtalika Village, under Senior Chief Mlolo in Nsanje.
