The body of the late Lucius Banda has been taken from Chileka Airport, where it arrived, to the College of Medicine in Blantyre.
At the College of Medicine, the body is expected to undergo an examination by medical experts before being taken to Balaka.
Crowds gathered at Chileka International Airport to pay their last respects to the Legendary musician.
Lucius Banda will be laid to rest on Thursday at Sosola village in Balaka.
