There was commotion at Chileka International Airport in Blantyre after a son to late Lucius Banda, Mapiri suddenly collapsed upon seeing his father’s body.
Mapiri regained his conscious following the first aid treatment by some well-wishers at the airport.
The body of Lucius Banda has since left Chileka Airport to Kamuzu College of Medicine where it will be kept for few moments.
State Vice President Dr. Michael Usi received the body on behalf of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
