The Central Executive Committee of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has appointed Marcel Chilongozi Theu as the party national Deputy Secretary General for North.
DPP Secretary General Dr. Clement Mwale has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to Mwale, the appointment of Marcel is with effect from June 28, 2024.
The appointment comes as the party is heading to the elective conference on August 17 and 18 ahead of 2025 polls.
