Malawi Women’s National Football Team striker Tabitha Chawinga has signed a contract of three years with a French Feminine League champions Olympique Lyonnais.
Chawinga, who was playing with another French side Paris Saint Germain on loan, has made a move to Lyonnais today.
Olympique Lyonnais has announced the arrival of Malawi’s iconic star through their official Facebook page.
“We have a high quality team and our objective is to add, each time, an extra touch of excellence. This season, we achieve this in particular with the arrival of Tabitha Chawinga”, reads the post.
In PSG, Tabitha was named as Player of the Season and also won the Golden Boot award last year after scoring 18 goals.
