Fans and artists worldwide are mourning the loss of Malawi’s beloved musician, Lucius Banda, whose influential legacy has left an indelible mark on the global music scene.
Tributes have been flowing in from every corner of the earth, celebrating Banda’s immense impact on music and culture.
Gramps Morgan of Morgan Heritage recently paid his respects, posting a heartfelt tribute on Facebook.
“Bro Lucius Banda RIP,” Morgan wrote.
“I mourn with you, Malawi. I’ll never forget the night we shared the stage at the Sands Music Festival.
My condolences to his wife, children, and the entire family.”
His fellow country man, who is also an artist, Busy Signal shared a voice note in which he paid his condolences to his family and described Lucius Banda as “Great Man”.
Lucius Banda will be laid to rest on Thursday at Sosola village in Balaka.
