A one-year-old boy named Christian Gwedeza has died in a car accident in a fatal car occurred in  Chitipa.

Deputy Spokesperson for Chitipa police Bright Mfune, has confirmed the development and sait the accident This happened at Kambavi on Kameke road which is being repaired.

According to Mfunen, the driver of the car, 33-year-old Justin Mhone, was coming from Kameme going to Chitipa.

Mfune said that when the car arrived at Kambavi, the driver missed the road and hit a pile of sand and the child fell and suffered a head injury and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
