Jonny Banda, son to late veteran musician Lucius Banda has promised to carry on his father’s legacy by making sure that Zembani Band continues to entertain Malawians.
In his speech Jonny described the music icon as a loving and caring father and husband.
In his eulogy, Johnny said his late father always encouraged them “to work hard like slaves” and never to give up in life.
“It was my father’s wish to spend his time at the farm, eating fruits after retirement before end of this year. We did not know the retirement he talked about would be his death,” said Jonny Banda.
