A businessman in Mzimba town, Bonface Zimba, is in pain after being attacked by suspected thieves last night.
Spokesperson for Mzimba police Peter Botha has confirmed the development and said the unknown criminal have also went away with k2 Million kwacha
According to Botha, the incident happened when Mr Zimba arrived at his home from his shop.
When he arrived at his house to offload goods, some unknown people appeared and asked them to pay money.
They assaulted him and managed to get the money as he was left injured in head.
Meanwhile, the injured person has been taken to Mzuzu Central Hospital where he is receiving help.
Botha said that they are investigating to find the people who have committed this insult.
