United Transformation Movement (UTM) has organized a candlelight memorial service to Nthungwa Primary School Ground, a place near where a plane carrying former Malawi’s Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima and 8 others crashed.
This has been confirmed in a statement detailing the whole program posted on Winnie Nyondo, one of the media team members of the former President.
UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati has also confirmed of the program with one of the local media houses in the country.
According to the program, the ceremony will start with prayers in the morning followed by a mass at 2pm.
The mass will be followed by a candlelight memorial in honor of Chilima and 8 others.
