Four Arrested in Nsanje for Alleged Theft of Fourteen Cattle

Nsanje police have arrested four men accused of stealing fourteen cattle.

The suspects—Luciano Gomesi, 30, from Mbeta village under Traditional Authority Malemia; Chipiliro Yohane, 20; Domingo Zeka; and Batumeyo Fred, 18—are all residents of Chilanga village in Traditional Authority Ndamera.

District publicist Sub-Inspector Agness Zalakoma reported that the cattle owner, a woman, discovered the theft on Monday night while she was asleep.

The suspects are set to appear in court soon to face charges of cattle theft.
