Chambu Primary School teacher Temwani Chilenga has hailed Old Mutual Malawi for supporting Zoe Foundation with money amounting to MK5 million in Lilongwe.
Speaking after receiving the donation Chilenga, founder of the foundation said the money will go a long way in supporting the orphans who are over 90 in total.
“Am really thankful to Old Mutual for the timely support. The foundation lacks a lot of basic needs such as food, clothes and other,” said Chilenga.
On his part Old Mutual Life Assurance Company Manager Roy Punungwe said the company has donated the money as part of celebrating 70 years anniversary.
Punungwe said Zoe Foundation is doing a commendable working in supporting the underprivileged people in the country hence the donation.
