Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema has said he will meet his predecessor, Edgar Chagwa Lungu, for a discussion.
HH made the announcement during the celebration of the Reformed Church in Zambia’s 125th anniversary on Sunday.

In his speech Hichilema emphasized that much can be achieved through love, unity, and tolerance.

“We ask the Reformed Church of Zambia to continue uniting our people. I heard your message loud and clear. You can be assured that your message is taken to heart, and we will do our part to reach out to our colleagues, including ECL himself, so that we can talk to each other. Our upbringing is very clear: on the platform of love, on the platform of unity,” said HH.

Lungu who is planning to contest again in the forthcoming polls has been all over town criticizing HH’s leadership style.

He accused the President of crippling freedom expression for Zambians.
