Italy govt delegation meets Vice President Michael Usi in Lilongwe

State Vice President Dr. Michael Usi on Friday held an audience with the delegation from the Italy government at Capital Hill in Lilongwe.
Led by Minister Plenipotentiary, Stefano Gatti – the delegation also included Ambassdor of Italy to Malawi, His Excellency Enrico de Agostini.
Among others, the delegation is in Malawi to foster Malawi-Italy relations as well as to identify areas of cooperation through the Mattei Plan – developed by Italy to outline Rome’s strategic engagement with African countries.
Usi was franked by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nancy Tembo.
