A two man musical army from Ntandire in Lilongwe The Madalitso Band, has left the country to perform in Europe.
The Band that has of Yobu Maligwa who plays the Babatoni, a single-string guitar but produces a bass and Yosefe Kalekeni who plays the acoustic guitar, is expected to play many ‘shows’.
They are expected to play and sing their magical true test of Malawi music in different countries such as France and the United Kingdom.
They are set to perform at The Marine Theatre Lyme Regis in UK. Stroud Brewery’s Balcony Bar, The Moseley Hive and many more places
They are expected to return in Malawi in September this year.
Recently, the band also performed at the MTN Bushfire Festival in Eswatini..
