Minor Defiles Minor In Zambia

A 5-year-old girl in Livingstone is recovering after being sexually assaulted by a fellow 12-year-old minor in the same area.
The incident occurred on July 11, 2024, in a nearby bush around the E-section of Linda Compound.
Deputy Southern Province Commissioner of Police, Moono Namalongo, confirmed the incident.
He, however, said no arrest has been made as the offender is a minor.
He said the case will be handled as a diversion, with counselling as one of the alternatives.
