United Transformation Movement (UTM) has said it will hold its elective conference in October this year ahead of the 2025 polls.
UTM spokesperson Felix Njawala made the announcement during a media briefing held in the capital Lilongwe today.
Njawala said date and venue for the elective conference will be announced after the final Central Executive Committee (NEC) meeting set for July 19, 2024.
He also announced that the party has pulled out of the Tonse Alliance with the ruling Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
