United Transformation Movement(UTM) has pulled out of the Tonse Alliance with the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) ahead of the 2025 polls.
UTM spokesperson Felix Njawala has announced this during a media briefing currently underway at UTM headquarters in the capital Lilongwe.
According to Njawala, the decision has been made during the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.
Njawala said UTM is now focusing the forthcoming 2025 polls.
