Former Reserve Bank of Malawi(RBM) Governor and Presidential hopeful Dalitso Kabambe has resigned from the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
Kabambe has confirmed of the development,saying he has informed former President Peter Mutharika who is also the leader now.
Former RBM governor could not disclose his next move.
But reports indicate that Kabambe is heading to United Transformation Movement(UTM) where he is scheduled to take up the Presidency post.
Kabambe on Sunday was spotted attending the candle light memorial of late Dr. Saulos Chilima at Zingwangwa ground in Blantyre.
