A young lady who went viral for rejecting her boyfriend’s marriage proposal has opened up about the reasons behind her decision.
The woman faced significant backlash and criticism from social media users after the video of her rejecting the proposal went viral.
In her recent statement, she began by expressing gratitude for all the support her boyfriend had given her during her time in school.
She acknowledged and thanked him for the “urgent 5Ks, 2Ks, and the numerous times he filled her gas,” highlighting the help he provided.
Despite her appreciation, she made it clear that marriage was never going to be a possibility for them.

“I don’t mean he trained me in schoo, but then again I am grateful for the urgent 5K, 2K, 3K, which he sends to my Opay. Abi is it the gas that he fills for me. I am very grateful. I could remember my last year birthday he bought me an iPhone X 32 gig UK used. It’s fine, but the issue of marriage, ha…anyways, my decision is between me and God,” she said.
