Some concerned United Transformation Movement (UTM) supporters have protested against a move by some top officials to allow former Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Governor Dalitso Kabambe take over the leadership of the party.
Kabambe one of the Presidential hopefuls resigned from the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) two days ago and rumours have it that he is set to join UTM.
The move has attracted mixed reactions with some concerned UTM supporters protesting the rumour.
In the statement seen by this publication purportedly issued some concerned UTM supporters, the supporters have faulted the i deal to rope in Kabambe.
The supporters feel the decision is not in good faith.
