Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema has accepted the resignation of Mr. Thom Trevor Shamakamba from his office as Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
State House Chief Communications Specialist, Clayson Hamasaka, has confirmed the development in a statement.
The President thanks Mr. Shamakamba for his service to the Government of the Republic of Zambia and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
Reasons for Shamakamba’s resignation are not known at the moment.
